How do virtual interior design and home staging sessions work?
Virtual sessions are conducted through a facetime call and require the use of a tripod so I can see the entire space without having to be physically present. I simply tell you where to move furniture, how to stage artwork, and teach all of my strategic organizing and cleaning methods.
-
How many sessions will I need to book?
The size of your home and amount of stuff you have determine how many sessions you will need. If there are serious issues with clutter and disorganization, then 6-8 sessions would be ideal to start with.
-
How much will the process cost?
On average, clients spend a total of $5000 to $10000 for the cost of my services and for any extra furniture, accessories, or organizational items that need to come into the space.
-
Can you describe your process from start to finish?
All design sessions involve 4 stages:
Stage 1: Furniture re-arrangement
We first start with furniture re-arrangement for a seamless flow.
Stage 2: Organization and Purge
An extremely thorough organization of closets, drawers, cabinets, and storage spaces will be conducted. This often involves a serious purge of old or unnecessary items.
Stage 3: Staging
I will guide you on how to make your bed to perfection, style your bookshelves, hang up artwork, and accessorize every room.
Stage 4: Shopping List
We will come up with a budget friendly shopping list of new furniture items, home decor accessories (faux plants, throw pillows, etc) and any organizational items to complete the space.

What should I do to prepare for a session?
Do a general clean up of your home including laundry, dishes, and tidying up. Also, keep tools and cleaning supplies handy so they can be used during the session.
-
How long will the whole process take?
Clients typically need 30 to 90 days to complete a project. The amount of time depends on the volume of possessions in the home and the size of the home.
